pure-lead thin plate rechargeable monoblocs offer numerous advantages, due to their
unique, patented starved-electrolyte system. The 2.5Ah, 5.0Ah and 8.0Ah models are all UL
1989 recognized components, offering extreme temperature performance and long service life
and are classified as "nonspillable" - resulting in simpler and less costly
shipping.

The Optima is a tough, revolutionary, "spiral-cell" power source that has quickly proven itself to be far superior to anything else available today.
Beneath the distinctive Optima exterior is the most advanced battery technology every created. The key to the Optima being superior is its patented Spiral-cell design.
Longer life. In SAE tests, ordinary batteries had a life span of 4,000 cycles while the Optima lasted 9-12,000 cycles. Optima has a lower life cycle cost than conventional batteries.
